The PWS data directory is broken up into subdirectories by data set.          
                                                                              
The IO_BRWSE directory contains calibrated Io LPW data that are average in    
both time (1 minute) and frequency. The ASCII data files provide a quick-look 
access to the PWS data.                                                       
                                                                              
The J0_BRWSE directory contains calibrated J0 RTS data that are average in    
both time (1 minute) and frequency.                                           
                                                                              
The IO_LPW directory contains LPW resolution data from the Io (and Torus)     
recorded interval on Dec 7, 1995 15:20-18:20 UT. The data are binary and      
uncalibrated. Software has been provided that will read these data files      
and the calibration tables and will output calibrated ASCII tables.           
                                                                              
The J0_RTS directory contains RTS resolution data from the J0 instrument      
checkout period. The data are binary and uncalibrated but can be converted to 
ASCII using the software provided.                                            
                                                                              
The WAVEFORM directory contains very high time resolution waveform samples    
acquired during the Io LPW interval.
