Detailed Description - Globals See /eros/descript/global.xls for a spreadsheet listing of all single global mosaics in the eros phase. During the 200 and 100km orbit we sequenced many individual global mosaics. These are slewing mosaics which cover a region large enough to capture most or all of Eros in the single mosaic. Here is a list of the various observation types which acquired individual global mosaics: 1) DailyGlobals - 4x4 mosaics taken during the post orbit insertion and 200km north periods; 1 per day. 2) Opnavs in post orbit insertion, 200km and 100km orbits - names like OPH_XX, OPN_XX_KF, OPN_XX_KL, etc; these are single tailored mosaics. Letter designates the shape of mosaici (except K, ignore the K's): D = 2x2 (columnxrow) F = 2x3 H = 3x3 L = 3x4 M = 4x3 N = 4x4 Q = 3x5 If a number between 1 and 4 comes after the letter, it indicates which corner the mosaic began. These occur mainly in 100km orbits.
