EROS FLYBY ORBITAL DATA Uses near_19997356_2000045_v03.bsp which is a reconstruction of the eros flyby. This file was generated using nadir pointing, which is not the actual pointing for the sequences. The purpose for this file is to give general range and other viewing information to Eros during the flyby. It is meant to be used as a general reference. This is not really connected in any way to the actual sequences. Exact pointing and viewing information should be obtained from the image header data. Column Descriptions: Date - month/day met - mission elapsed time utc - year-doy/hh:mm:ss range-to-center - range in km from spacecraft to center of Eros range-to-surface - range in km from spacecraft to surface point where line between s/c and eros center pierces surface sub-s/c lat - Eros latitude where line between spacecraft and eros center pierces surface sub-s/c lon - Eros longitude where line between spacecraft and eros center pierces surface msires long pix - resolution in meters/pixel where 1 pixel = 161 microradians (long side of msi pixel) msires short pix - resolution in meters/pixel where 1 pixel = 94 microradians (short side of msi pixel) nisres - resolution in meters/pixel where 1 pixel = .38 deg (short side of nis fov) sunlat - Eros latitude where line between sun and eros center pierces surface phase - phase angle is angle between sun, Eros center and spacecraft eros size in short pixels - number of short msi pixels (.000094 rad) that is equivalent to 35 km at this range.
