     For each CD-ROM, the documentation and index files contain statistics    
about the images.  Some of these text files contain erroneous information.  A 
summary review of the disk also revealed some inconsistences and other        
mistakes.   This file lists the mistakes and gives corrections.               
                                                                              
     In the VOLUME.TXT file the Julian Date is incorrect; it should read      
2446442.256944 corresponding to the date 1986 Jan 11.75694.                   
                                                                              
     The metadata file LSPN0912.HDR, in both BROWSE and C86JAN05 directories, 
indicates that the OBJECT is 'P/HALLEY'.   Reading the COMMENT field and      
displaying the image shows the data to be a calibration strip.   This file    
was included in the file count for Halley images and there has been no        
attempt to relabel it as calibration data.   At this period, Jan 07.0, 1986,  
there are a number of other calibration files with similar information.
