The program IMDISP.EXE allows the user to display and manipulate individual files or browse through directories and subdirectories at will. The file IMDISP.EXE should be put into a subdirectory which is in your computer's path table. This will allow it to be invoked from any subdirectory on any hard disk or CD-ROM drive. Optionally, IMDISP can be executed directly from the CDROM. To display an image on the GXDR CD-ROM type 'FILE', which will prompt you with a list of file names on the current disk drive. Type 'D' to select a new drive, then type the letter of your CD-ROM drive ('L' for example). The display will show you the various subdirectories on the GXDR CD-ROM (GTDR, GREDR, etc). Select one of the subdirectories and a list of file names (ending in '.IMG') will appear. Select a file and the image will be loaded then displayed on the screen. This can take ten or twenty seconds since the image is loaded into a memory buffer before being displayed. You can also use the BROWSE command to view GXDR images. Inside a subdirectory simply type 'browse' and all the images in that subdirectory will be displayed. To display all images on a disk, type 'BROWSE *.IMG ALL', when positioned at the ROOT directory of the CD-ROM.
