Help on Using the Results of Search Page

The Results of Search page shows the MGS data products that occur in the 5 by 5 degree area you selected on the previous page AND that match the search criteria you selected.

The table has one row for each data product found, with columns for Instrument, Product ID, Volume ID, File Name, Browse File, Orbit(s), and Start Time. Highlighted names in the File Name column are links to the data product files found on the volume currently in use. If the name of the file you want is not highlighted, remove the current volume and insert the volume listed next to the file name. Then reload this page in your browser.

Most data products are large binary files that cannot be displayed in a web browser. The links are provided so that you may use your browser to download the data to your computer if you wish. In most browsers you do this by right-clicking on the link and choosing "Save As".

If a browse file is listed for the data product, its name appears highlighted. Browse files are intended to be viewed in your web browser, so you may simply click on the link to see the file. It will open in a new window. Since all browse files are present on all volumes, there is no need to insert a different volume to view a browse file.

From the Results page, you may go back to the Close-Up Page to change the search criteria or select a different 5 by 5 degree box on the map, or you may go back to the global map to start over completely.
