Because of the nature of the data (e.g., antenna elevation angle and azimuth) we expect to plot several channels but not compute or report statistics unless there are anomalies. To start, we plan to look at four channels regularly: M-0304 ELEVATION ANGLE M-0305 AZIMUTH ANGLE M-0349 RECEIVER AGC M-0614 X-BAND DOPPLER RESIDUALS Channelized monitor data for 97/090 amounted to 21.4 MB compared with 150.7 MB of channelized engineering data for the same date. The monitor data volume should remain fairly steady throughout the mission, whereas the engineering data volume will decrease (in favor of science data) once we begin the Mapping Phase.
