Open Loop Data ============== Data Collection --------------- We collected data from two other GWE reheasals that have not been reported previously. Anomalies --------- For the GWE rehearsal on 97/093 there were 185 POCA records out of order; for the test on 97/098 there were 27. For the rehearsal on 97/093 the signal remained in the upper half of the spectrum throughout the test (55-95 Hz); there were occasional appearances of images in the lower half. For the rehearsal on 97/098 the signal started at 85 Hz, drifted beyond 100 Hz without apparent attenuation, then returned to 92 Hz and disappeared. Occasional spectra during the latter two-thirds of the test show a brief, rapidly drifting signal. It appears the open-loop data acquisition system was not configured correctly during this test and that virtually all data were lost. Constant spurs at 20 and 60 Hz are visible in the first half of the spectra. Likewise 970404-eop.short appears to be a second version of 970402-eop.short. On the assumption that the second version is better than the first, we have removed the first in each case from our collection. Our file renaming program (required for archiving) wanted to assign the same file name to each version, so we could not keep both. See HEA7096A.TXT for the initial report on this anomaly.
