There is no new engineering or monitor data to report on, though we have successfully initiated queries for both. We are "caught up" on open-loop data, but only because we can't seem to find most of it (see below). Even data collected within the past 24 hours is unavailable to Stanford. Open Loop Data ============== Data Collection --------------- We have initiated queries for ALL past GWE periods for which we believe there were successful DSP operations. Queries which resulted in data flow to Stanford are in the table immediately below. Queries which resulted in NO data are listed under Anomalies. Successful queries that have been listed in previous Health Reports are not repeated here. Anomalies --------- The number of POCA records out of order in the three ODS queries above was 249, 0, and 94. Note that data recovered starting at 1997/109-15:05:55 is only slightly more than 4 minutes of a total pass that should have had over 3 hours of DSP operation. Also, there was no signal in the 4 minutes of data that were obtained. Carrier level fluctuations on scales of many minutes in the first and third data sets above are most rapid when the signal is drifting the fastest. This probably means that the fluctuations are mapping the response of the baseband filter. There is evidence of carrier "images" at higher or lower frequencies in spectra from the first and third data sets. DSP operations for which we have been unable to acquire data are listed below. With the exception of the 97/105 data, we have issued at least two queries for each pass (one last night, the second this morning) and have received the same response each time. The data for 1997/105 were recorded on tape.
