It should have been 1997-04-25 and HEA7115A.TXT B1.0 Transition =============== Networking problems continue at Stanford. We have been concentrating on obtaining GWE open loop data from the NERT Cache. We have complete transfer of data from 97/111 and have part of the data from 97/112. The process is slow because the full pass cannot be obtained in a single query; querying for shorter segments works, but the length of the segments can only be determined manually by experiment. Engineering Data ================ No new data. Open Loop Data ============== Data Collection --------------- Data have been obtained from 97/111 and 97/112 as follows: YYYY/DDD DSS DSP SAMP BW DSP BIT TRK REC RECS RECS FIRST START STOP RATE MODE RESN MODE LEN MSSG SNR -------- --- -------- -------- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ----- ---- ----- 1997/111 15 03:10:00 05:10:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 14400 0 ~51. 1997/111 15 05:10:00 07:10:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 14400 0 ~49. 1997/111 15 07:10:00 08:10:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 7200 0 ~41. 1997/111 15 08:10:00 09:10:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 7199 1 ~6. 1997/111 15 09:10:00 10:10:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 7198 2 ~0. 1997/111 45 07:15:00 08:15:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 7193 7 ~51. 1997/111 45 08:15:00 09:15:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 7192 8 ~51. 1997/111 45 09:15:00 10:15:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 7192 8 ~53. 1997/111 45 10:15:00 15:05:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 34792 8 ~51. 1997/111 15 22:05:00 00:00:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 12600 0 ~48. 1997/112 15 00:00:00 08:10:00 200 100 1 8 2-W 566 58798 2 TBD Anomalies --------- There were 572 POCA order errors in the 97/111 data. Images of the carrier are visible in spectra around 1997/111-07:00; the carrier is near 38 Hz at this time, and there are apparent images near 8, 68, and 96 Hz. Near 7:20 there are at least half a dozen weaker signals drifting with the carrier; close inspection suggests some may be double-peaked spurs that have been reported in steered data previously (97/016, 97/092). At about 1997/111-07:35 the signal at DSS 15 disappears, though there is a hint that it is drifting rapidly through spectra at about 08:20. At DSS 45 there is no signal until about 07:25, but it's frequency is not stable until about 07:45. This suggests there was a handover from DSS 15 to 45 around that time; neither DSP had correct tuning predicts for the time when the other station was transmitting. Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- Data collection continues, but labeling and cataloging is on hold while we deal with other problems.
