Anomalies --------- Data from a DSS 45 pass on 97/115 from 05:30 to 13:00 has not been collected because of a misunderstanding over the DSN allocation. We plan to capture that later today. There were many I/O errors reported by the query server between 1997/113- 23:58:00 and 1997/114-02:00:00. The segments shown above are what we recovered in a determined, but not exhaustive, set of queries. The number of POCA order errors was 463 for the data collected on 97/114. The number was 396 for the combined data from 97/115 and 97/116. There are amplitude fluctuations of more than 14 dB in data collected between 97/114-00:06 and 97/114-00:18. The most severe are four instances when the power dropped and then recovered 10-15 dB in less than a minute. There are images of the carrier in spectra near 97/114-04:25 and over 97/114-09:45 to 97/114-14:00. Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- Data collection continues, but labeling and cataloging is on hold while we deal with other problems. Analysis -------- Bill Sjogren notes +/-0.3 mm/sec fluctuations in one-way Doppler over DSS 25 from 97/114-22:00 through 97/115-04:00; the period of the oscillations was about 100 minutes. Although we don't have corresponding thermal measurements from the USO (engineering channel T-0315) for 97/114, the magnitude of the Doppler is about what we expect from the thermal behavior on 97/112.
