Anomalies --------- Data were also collected from DSS 45 between 97/115-05:30 and 05:54, but the configuration was unexpected (record lengths of 2666 bytes and DSP mode 2), and attenuation was high. There was no obvious signal, so those data have been discarded. There were 218 POCA order errors in the data from 97/115, 304 in the data from 97/117 (both files), 216 in the data from 97/118, and 242 in the data from 97/119. there are images of the carrier near 97/115-11:00 and 97/117-10:30 The power in the data samples drifts to lower values near the end of some passes: -1 dB at 97/117-14:30 and 97/118-14:15 and -3 dB at 97/119-14:30. This may be simple elevation angle effects; but we don't have the corresponding monitor data yet for comparison. Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- Data collection continues, but labeling and cataloging is on hold while we deal with other problems. We apparently lost an ATDF this morning when we didn't respond quickly enough; it was removed from OSCAR before we had a chance to retrieve it. The providers have said we have 4 hrs from the time they put it on the disk, and my notice arrived about 8 PM last evening. Trish Priest is looking into improving the transfer procedures for ATDFs.
