     We have been unable to connect to anything at JPL over our NASCOM line
since at least late afternoon yesterday.  As a result, we have nothing to
report.  Comm Chief has been notified; says line appears to be configured
properly.  SA's were called; they see connectivity but acknowledge apparent
poor performance and are investigating.
