PDS_VERSION = PDS3 RECORD_TYPE = STREAM OBJECT = TEXT PUBLICATION_DATE = 1997-06-11 NOTE = "MGS RST Instrument Health Report HEA7162A.TXT" END_OBJECT = TEXT END This report is being submitted by Joe Twicken. Dick Simpson is in Flagstaff until Friday. USO Test #11 was completed at DSS 25 earlier today. I have not yet been able to successfully query for the ODS data. Hopefully I will be able to report more positively on this test tomorrow. Trish Priest reported that there was a data outage during the test because the DSP had a VME bus error and had to be rebooted. Open Loop Data ============== Data Collection --------------- As mentioned above, USO Test #11 was completed at DSS 25 earlier today. This was the first USO Test since April 2nd. According to Trish Priest, there was a data outage in the middle of the pass because the DSP had a VME bus error and had to be rebooted. She was not sure how much data was lost, but it would likely have been 19 minutes in the best case (02:53 when DSP was rebooted until 03:12 when recording commenced). I have been unable thus far to successfully query for the ODS data. Hopefully, there will be a more positive report tomorrow. Anomalies --------- Data outage during USO Test #11 and inability to query for the ODS data. Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- We have obtained the following files from OSCAR and EPIC: Original File Name Name on SOPC ------------------------------ ------------ ATDF: ODF: 97128C129.DAT;1 7128129D.ODF 97128O129.DAT;1 7128129E.ODF IONCAL: TROPCAL: WEATHER: WEATHER_10_LATEST;46 70011611.WEA WEATHER_40_LATEST;46 70011614.WEA WEATHER_60_LATEST;46 70011616.WEA UTPM: EOP: 970610-EOP.LONG;1 20207196.EOP 970610-EOP.SHORT;1 61967196.EOP The ODF files are replacements for earlier files which we had erroneously transfered in ASCII (rather than BINARY) mode, and which were subsequently unreadable.
