Open Loop Data ============== Data Collection --------------- No new data Analyses -------- Joe Twicken has examined the transient frequency response during RPA warm-up. It appears that the output frequency is a couple Hz low at power-on but stabilizes within a few tenths of a second (HEA7199A.PS1). Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- We have obtained the following files from OSCAR and EPIC: Original File Name Name on SOPC ------------------------------ ------------ ATDF: ODF: 97198C199.DAT;1 7198199A.ODF IONCAL: TROPCAL: WEATHER: UTPM: EOP: Figure Captions =============== HEA7199A.PS1: Frequency versus time during initial TWTA warm-up. There is no signal prior to about 21.6541 hours; estimates of the carrier frequency are widely scattered. The first good estimate of carrier frequency is a couple Hz low; but the next point and all subsequent points fall very well along a straight line at about 156.5 Hz. Samples are spaced by 0.1024 sec; data are from RS ORT-2. A plot from a second warm-up event is almost identical. Figures ======= Plot(s) illustrate some of the points made in the text. Each plot is a PostScript file, created and printable on our SOPC. For report text file HEAydddC.TXT Figure N will be labeled HEAydddC.PSN and sent as the N+1st e-mail message of a set. We assume that you can strip off the e-mail headers and either display or print copies of the figures on a machine in your area. People who have indicated that they cannot handle these files by e-mail are not included in the e-mail distribution of figures.
