Miscellaney
===========

     This report was delayed because the e-mail path between the SOPC and this
machine (magellan) appeared to be down.  In the course of diagnosing the mail
problem, we rebooted the SOPC, which then wouldn't function at all.

     SA Roger Lighty at JPL advised that they had been doing some work on
sendmail; in the course of those modifications they had apparently changed
some tables needed to resolve addresses in general.  When we rebooted, the
SOPC couldn't even figure out its own address.

     The SOPC is at least back, though all does not yet appear to be "normal."
We are about a day and a half behind in collecting and handling DSN Monitor
and S/C Engineering data, but should be more-or-less back on track tomorrow --
barring other events.
