Sami Asmar provides additional insight regarding the orbit timing problem encountered last week: The MGS reaction wheel problem has apparently caused a change (increase?) in the slope of the ground track walk. This has then caused a build-up of timing error in the occultation and other events. The new sequence now in place has corrected the problem to some extent. There will be additional fine-tuning as the navigation team updates their solutions. Two new SPK files and one new OPT (see Ancillary Data, below) are predict files, are large, and will probably remain on-line for only a short time.
