Miscellaneous
=============

     Because of the holiday weekend (and a SOPC software problem; see below),
this is the first report since HEA1047A.TXT.

     SOPC software upgrades started by a JPL system administrator last Friday
apparently went awry.  We have been unable to submit queries since early
Saturday (for spacecraft engineering data, DSN monitor data, and open loop
data).  Software packages such as NETSCAPE and PERL simply do not work
because they were removed and replacements never installed.  Vincent Hung has
two people working on the problem and hopes to have our workstation back on
its feet in a few hours.  We will then begin recovering four days of data.
