These scripts contain the same timing as the last scripts but the solar array offpoint is now 35 degrees instead of 25 degrees. Here's the timeline for the first three orbits. It now appears that GSSR was definitely the source of that interference. The time intervals when RFI was predicted and when we actually lost data are listed below. The GSSR target was 1999 KW4, one of fewer than two dozen known Mercury-crossing asteroids. Its orbit (a = 0.64 AU, e = 0.69, i = 39 deg) is unique among the asteroids for its combination of high inclination and small perihelion distance (q = 0.200 AU). It passed within 0.033 A.U. on day 146.
