We will be reviewing the impact of these artifacts on science processing of the data. Attenuator settings for all occultations are marginally OK for the majority of data. But diffraction overshoot immediately before ingress and immediately after egress may be clipped. We have recommended adding another 1 dB to the attenuator settings. There is no obvious amplitude variation resulting from HGA pointing errors or oscillations, indicating that HGA deployment, calibration, and control are good to first order. About two-thirds of the occultations show some evidence of surface echoes in quick-look processing.
