Most quick look spectra show surface echoes. Data from 1999/106 were obtained while spacecraft was in its "safe" mode and transmitting via its low-gain antenna. Analysis -------- Joe Twicken has completed a second analysis of frequency stability since deployment of the HGA. His report: I have now investigated a recent ingress occultation in detail. Dave has not yet retrieved profiles for this one. The occultation was 424i, recorded at DSS 34 on 1999/102. The SNR was approximately 61 dB/Hz. I did not account for motion of the HGA phase center when making the stability estimates. The duration of the baseline from which I estimated the Allan deviation was less than three minutes.
