The spurs are present when the gimbals are active and they are absent when the gimbals are fixed. DSS 65 data starting at the following times were corrupted by a maulfunctioning Programmable Oscillator Control Assembly (POCA). 1999/127-20:19:00 1999/127-21:39:00 1999/127-22:16:00 1999/128-21:11:00 1999/128-23:46:00 1999/129-01:06:00 Data starting at 1999/128-23:09:00 were lost, perhaps because of the POCA failure. Data from the entire following pass at DSS 65 (from approximately 1999/129-17:30:00 to 1999/130-03:00:00) were lost because of the POCA failure. The POCA power supply has been replaced and should be ready for today's pass. Data from 1999/127-19:41:00 through 1999/128-10:14:00 have carrier frequency offset and/or drifting as much as 600 Hz from the normal center of the passband. This is presumably the result of OTM-4 and the fact that frequency tuning predicts were out of date. Data starting 1999/128-08:05:00 were lost because of a SPA-R initialization failure. The majority of other occultations show at least a weak surface echo. There is a large surface echo in data starting 1999/129-05:39:00. The last "large" echo was observed on 1999/127-04:40:00, at a very similar (latitude, longitude). This is the first time we have confirmed existence of a "super-smooth" region by repeated measurements using the grazing bistatic technique. Thanks to Campaign A, there should be an opportunity to make a third observation on orbit 774 (approximately 1999/131-06:38:00). "Structure" in the carrier baseline, especially on ingress, has returned. For example, in data starting at 1999/128-19:13:00, there is a 0.5 dB increase in carrier level about 4 minutes before ingress, followed by a 1.5 dB drop about 30 sec later. Otherwise, the carrier level is quite stable. "Structure" now is infrequent, whereas a week ago it appeared on every orbit.
