Occultations 4312i through 4315i (start times 2000/055T09:19:00 through 2000/055T15:12:00, all at DSS 65) have less than 2 minutes of unmodulated carrier before ingress -- compared with 4-5 minutes in normal cases. The symptoms are consistent with about a 3 minute error in predicted occultation time since both telemetry off on the spacecraft and DSP start/stop on the ground are positioned for an occultation about 3 minutes later than actual. Beginning with occultation 4316i (2000/055T17:06:00, DSS 65) operations returned to normal. We submitted ISA Z67158 to report the anomaly, then submitted an update to note the recovery. Trish Priest has done some preliminary investigating, and Jesse Glance is following up. Occultation 4312i (2000/055T09:19:00 at DSS 65) was also captured at DSS 45 (yesterday's report). Both show the same timing offset.
