These may be the result of using DSN predicts or it could be that the POCA is malfunctioning; the quick-look data do not allow distinguishing between these causes. Data from occultation 6393i (see above) also have unusually low SNR. Data from occultation 6413i (DSS 15, start time 2000/227-01:10:00) have +/-0.5 dB fluctuations in carrier level prior to ingress. Also, the ingress event itself was barely captured (the recording was only 5 minutes and came at the very end of the pass). Analyses -------- Joe Twicken's second level of processing typically runs about 10 days behind real time. He has reported very few anomalies in the past couple weeks that were not already picked up in the quick-look processing; and there have been no recent uncorrectable POCA errors.
