Miscellaneous
=============

     The E1.0 software has been installed on the SOPC but several functions
did not work properly -- including queries for spacecraft engineering data,
DSN monitor data, and open-loop data.  Also, it takes about an hour to reboot
the system.  Vincent Hung and David Stein solved the query problem, but the
reboot issue has been postponed given that the system is up.  DMD also does
not appear to be working, so our queries for spacecraft engineering and
DSN monitor data cannot be interpreted.

     Aseel Anabtawi reports that the E1.0 patches were installed successfully
on the Radio Science Support Team SOPC last Tuesday (17 October).  The
remaining software changes are expected within a couple weeks.

Open Loop Data
==============

  Anomalies
  ---------

     Because of problems partly associated with the E1.0 upgrade, we have not
successfully queried for open loop data for about two days.  Meanwhile data
acquisition continues.  Aseel Anabtawi reports the following anomalies:

       Occultations 7285i-7287i (DSS 54, start times 2000/298-07:16:00 to
11:11:00) were lost when tuning predicts did not load.

       Occultations 7288i-7289i (DSS 24, start times 2000/298-13:09:00 and
15:07:00) were lost when the open loop system was configured incorrectly.
DSS 24 requires different settings, and this antenna has not been used
recently for MGS.
