For the 14 occultations in the past approximately 24 hrs, we have had to place calls to Data Control twice in order to recover 4 occultations that never made it to the query server. A fifth is presently lost (see next item), but we have not contacted Data Control pending confirmation from RSSG that the data were actually captured at the station. This activity represents a noticeable increase in the interactions we have had to make with Data Control compared with the pre-E1.0 period. Data from occultation 7556i (DSS 65, start time 2000/320-10:46:00) have not been found. Cause for the problem is not known.
