The results have been judged unsatisfactory by Dave Hinson. NAV Chief Pat Esposito has confirmed that he will be delivering new SPK files only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through the summer and that each file will be based on a single orbit reconstruction. Thus only 1 in 4 orbits will be reconstructed during the week, and only 1 in 6 will be reconstructed on weekends. At best, we may have to defer processing some occultations until later, in hopes that orbits reconstructed elsewhere can be used. Carrier frequency during the DSS 54 ingress occultation is about 100 Hz above the passband center. During the egress occultation it starts about 300 Hz high and ends about 450 Hz low.
