Anomalies --------- The 13 records lost in data starting at 1998/093-09:20:00 were the first lost since 1998/069. All 13 were contiguous. Based on record number, the first was at 09:30:44.4, only about 30 sec before the occultation. Since we noted POCA time tags being out of order in HEA8091A.TXT, every occultation observed at SPC 60 has had the same problem. In examining data from 98/091-11:31:00, Joe Twicken found that (in addition to 10 time tag ordering problems) there were several missing POCA entries, including one at a ramp rate change. He is concerned that, at the current rate of degradation, DSP data from SPC 60 will no longer be salvageable with existing software. Carrier-to-noise level at SPC 60 was reported as improved following some tests by Sal Abbate in yesterday's health report (HEA8092A.TXT). The data collected today had been routed through the "channel 3" chain again, but the levels are down. Frequency behavior during egress continues to be better than early in the week; apparently the SPK file being used for predicts is more accurate.
