Two-way tracking uses uplink ramping. Data from many ingress occultations have amplitude scalloping at the +/-0.3 dB level (e.g., data beginning at 1999/039-07:21:00). The period of these oscillations is about 30 sec. They tend to be most apparent during passes over SPC 60, though not all SPC 60 occultations have shown them and they have also been seen (at lower amplitudes and longer periods) at other complexes. They have not been seen in egress data. We suspect a spacecraft source. Data from most egress occultation have stable, albeit sometimes short, amplitude baselines. Data beginning at 1999/037-00:45:00 and 1999/038- 00:32:00 have ragged amplitude baselines. These were both captured at SPC 40 but with different antennas (DSS 45 and DSS 34, respectively). We suspect a spacecraft source. Data from the occultation beginning about 1999/036-16:03:00 were apparently collected but have never reached Mgs_CDR_Query_Server. Trish has requested help from Data Control, but without success as of this report. Data from occultations starting about 1999/037-04:43:00, 05:52:00, and 21:45:00 were lost because of typos in setting up the DSP. Data starting about 1999/039-05:22:00 were lost when the wrong predict set was used. Data beginning about 1999/037-12:37:00 may suffer from the "sawtooth" problem; this has not been confirmed at Stanford.
