With the exception of the battery, which was depleted on SOL 56, the remainder
of the Power Subsystem is in good health. The power subsystem continues to
operate only on solar power. During the runout of the SOL 68 sequence, the
telemetry contained health checks imbedded in the hold com period of the APXS
measurements for the first time. These health checks seem to show a higher
current draw for the APXS than formerly reported by the APXS PI. This could
account for the apparent early depletion of the batteries. This will be
investigated further. There were no new operational problems noted in
the SOL 69 telemetry.
