  Data Set Overview

The data from the ROSETTA PLASMA CONSORTIUM (RPC) Ion Composition
Analyser (ICA) was submitted by Hans Nilsson for the RPCICA team.

The data set contains data of mass resolved positively charged ions
in the energy range a few eV to 40 keV, given in RAW units (counts).
The calibrated data is given for instrument mass channels, not physical
mass ranges.  Separation into physical mass ranges must be performed by
the end user using calibration data.

    This dataset contains corrected and RESAMPLED RAW DATA from
the RPCICA instrument on mission ROSETTA during Comet escort 2.
The data has been corrected for cross-talk using an automatic algorithm,
and noise has been treated to be even regardless of onward noise
suppression. The data is the same as L4 CORR but in counts, not physical
units. The data may due to noise treatment have negative values.

    An automatic algorithm that is not reversible has been applied to
remove cross-talk and adjust for uneven sensitivity of anodes. Therefore
