    <description>The Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft, launched in 1977, are on a mission to explore interstellar space, well beyond Pluto, after having successfully studied Jupiter and Saturn. Voyager 1 entered interstellar space in August 2012, followed by Voyager 2 in November 2018. Both spacecraft are still transmitting scientific data back to Earth via the Deep Space Network. They've made significant discoveries, such as active volcanoes on Jupiter's moon Io and details about Saturn's rings, and Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft to have visited Uranus and Neptune. Their ongoing mission, the Voyager Interstellar Mission, aims to explore the outer edge of the Sun's influence and beyond.</description>
