     All trajectory data are provided in the form of NAIF SPK files.  Each
SPK file is a data module which can be read and interpreted using software
provided by the PDS Navigation and Ancillary Information Facility (NAIF).

     There are two formats for the trajectory data; ephemerides are provided
in only one of the formats for each experiment (except for experiments
conducted on 21 February 1992, for which there are NO trajectory data).

     The NAIF 'text' format is used for trajectories through 1992-342;
these files can be identified by the string 'TSP'.  Beginning with 1992-355,
the data are provided in NAIF 'transfer' format (string 'XSP').  Both can
be converted to the local binary format using the NAIF utility SPACIT.

     All necessary ephemeris information (spacecraft, Venus, Earth, Sun)
is included in the TSP files.  Solar system ephemerides (Venus, Earth,
Sun) from late 1989 through early 1996 are provided in the single transfer
file PEPH8996.XSP.  Only the spacecraft orbit with respect to Venus is
included in the MGNnnnnn.XSP files.
