          <version_id>11.0</version_id>
<description>This collection is updated with files for 1978 through 2001.
For 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s files, the data files were modified for PDS4 compliance.
In most cases, the data themselves remain unchanged, with exceptions like the following:
1999_001_2000_003_w40.tab - removed lines with values flagged by "*". Reason for * unknown.
1999_001_2000_003_w60.tab - removed lines with values flagged by "*". Reason for * unknown.
Some examples of structural modifications made to the data file are:
1988_001_1988_292_w10.tab - Headers adjusted to fit within 60 characters
1989_006_1989_365_w60.tab - Headers adjusted to fit within 60 characters
1989_017_1989_365_w10.tab - Headers adjusted to fit within 60 characters
1989_119_1989_365_w40.tab - Headers adjusted to fit within 60 characters
1988_003_1988_269_w40.tab - removed the line END OF METEOROLOGICAL DATA **** between 880327 and 880807
             Spacing modified within headers
Date headers with no adjoining data removed
Otherwise, the data remain unchanged, even in cases for which the values may not make sense.
For example, somme files have seeminlgy incorrect date stamps or misplaced data.
These sections are retained but the file names are based on the earliest and
last dates in the file that make sense. Users should use the out-of-place sections
          at their own risk.
Note that the 0000 timetag often arrives at the end of a particular DOY. Such times likely refer
to the following DOY but their location has not been modified.
