PDS4 Bundle for Magellan Bistatic Radar Calibrated This bundle contains Magellan data migrated from the PDS3 archive. More specifically, this bundle contains calibrated data from three orbits of S-Band (13 cm wavelength) Magellan bistatic radar data collected with NASA antenna DSS 63 on 5 June 1994 when the specular point crossed Maxwell Montes. The bundle is organized into the following collections: - SPICE Kernel collection in the 'bsp' directory - PDS3 catalog document collection in the 'catalog' directory - Document collection in the 'document' directory - GNC calibration collection in the 'gnc' directory - PDS3 index file collection in the 'index' directory - PRR data collection in the 'prr' directory - PRT data collection in the 'prt' directory - SC1 calibration collection in the 'sc1' directory - SC2 calibration collection in the 'sc2' directory - SPC data collection in the 'spc' directory - SRF calibration collection in the 'srf' directory - Geometry collection in the 'srg' directory Each product in this bundle is described by a PDS4 label in a separate file with a similar name to the file described by the label but with the extension .xml. PDS4 labels are XML (eXtended Markup Language) files that conform to the PDS4 Information Model XML schema at https://pds.nasa.gov/pds4/schema/released/. The PDS4 labels are best viewed in an XML-aware text editor and may be used by software that can manipulate XML documents. Note that the original PDS3 archive spans multiple volumes. The directories from these volumes have been merged into this bundle and some redundant files excluded. Details of this merge are provided in document/geo_notes_and_errata.pdf. PDS4 labels and other PDS4 products have also been added. All data products have been given PDS4 labels. Some PDS3 files remain but are not considered part of the PDS4 bundle, such as aareadme.txt in the root directory. The aareadme.txt and voldesc.cat files in the root directory are from the last PDS3 volume. This bundle was created and archived by the Geosciences Node of the Planetary Data System.
