Overview
========

This bundle contains the following collections.

document: 
   - The Mars 2020 Mission Overview document gives a brief overview of the 
     mission and the archive.
     
   - Mars 2020 Mission Bundle and Collections table shows the primary and
     secondary collections in the mission bundle, and their relationships
     with other Mars 2020 bundles.

   - The Mars 2020 Mission Bundle Release Notes contain notes and errata
     relevant to each release of the mission bundle.

document_camera:
   - The Mars 2020 Camera Software Interface Specification (SIS) describes
     the data products from all Mars 2020 cameras.
     
   - Release Notes for the Ecam, Helicam, ImgOps, and Mastcam-Z bundles 
     are provided.
     
   - This collection contains other documents relevant to the cameras
     and image processing.
     
calibration_camera:
   - This collection contains calibration files and other information relevant 
     to camera calibration.
   
miscellaneous:
   - This collection contains Velocity templates used to translate 
     metadata in ODL (Object Description Language) format to PDS metadata
     in XML (eXtended Markup Language) format.
   
Archive Products and PDS Labels
===============================

Every product in the bundle is accompanied by a PDS label in a file with 
the same name as the data file, but with the extension ".xml", as PDS 
labels are written in XML (Extended Markup Language). The labels may 
be viewed in a text editor or web browser, preferably one that applies 
special formatting to XML files to make them more readable. The labels 
may also be read by software that can interpret XML. 

Documentation
=============

The primary documentation for the bundle is the Mars 2020 Overview
in the document directory. Users who are unfamiliar with PDS archives should 
read this first.
