Odyssey GRS Element Concentration Bundle ============================================= This bundle contains Mars Odyssey GRS data migrated from the PDS3 volume. It contains derived data corresponding to the PDS3 dataset ODY-M-GRS-5-ELEMENTS-V1.0. The bundle contains the following collections: - A data collection, data_element_concentrations, whose products are in the data directory. - A browse collection, browse, whose products are in the browse directory. - A document collection, catalog, whose products are in the catalog directory. - A miscellaneous collection, miscellaneous, whose products are in the index directory. Each product in this bundle is described by a PDS4 label in a separate file with the same name as the original PDS .LBL label but with the extension XML. PDS4 labels are XML (eXtended Markup Language) files that conform to the PDS4 Information Model XML schema at https://pds.nasa.gov/pds4/schema/released/. The PDS4 labels are best viewed in an XML-aware text editor, and may be used by software that can manipulate XML documents. Note that the PDS4 labels and other PDS4 products are merged with the PDS3 volume such that all the PDS3 files and directories are preserved. Thus, users who want access to the PDS3 labels can continue to use them. All data products have been given PDS4 labels. Some PDS3 files remain but are not considered part of the PDS4 bundle, e.g. aareadme.txt, errata.txt, and voldesc.cat files in the root directory of this bundle. The aareadme.txt file describes the structure of the original PDS3 dataset. The errata.txt lists any comments or errors relative to the PDS3 standards. The voldesc.cat is a PDS3 catalog file for the volume. NOTE: In the process of converting this archive to the PDS4 standard, problems were discovered in the alignment of the columns in all 24 .tab data files that now make up the collection data_element_concentrations; new versions of these data files and their PDS3 labels have been released alongside the new PDS4 labels, with the previous verions superseded. The PDS4 labels for science products were created by the instrument team. The remainder of the PDS4 bundle was created and archived by the Geosciences Node of the Planetary Data System.
