This bundle contains the following collections:

Data Products and PDS Labels
============================

Every Crew Camera data product is accompanied by a PDS label in a file with the same name
as the data file, but with the extension ".xml", as PDS labels are written in XML 
(Extended Markup Language). The labels may be viewed in a text editor or web browser, 
preferably one that applies special formatting to XML files to make them more readable. 
The labels may also be read by software that can interpret XML.

Source image files (.nef) are Nikon Electronic Format (NEF) Raw image files that can be 
viewed by many camera raw image interpreters and image display programs.  

Raw and Partially Processed image files (.tif) are Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) image 
files generated from source images that may be viewed in commonly available image display 
programs.

Browse image files (.png) are Portable Network Graphic images that may be viewed
in most web browsers and commonly available image display programs. 

Documentation
=============
       
The Artemis II Data User Guide, found in the Mission bundle and document collection, 
describes the contents, format, and structure of the entire Artemis II science data 
archive, including this bundle. It describes the processing level terminology and methods
used to generate the data products. Users are advised to read this document first before 
using the data products.
