## Introduction

This document contains information pertaining to the Voyager 1 Interplanetary
Cruise Solar Wind Magnetometer Data Bundle, which contains averaged 1 hour
and 48 second samples in Inertial Heliographic coordinates. These data have been
extracted from the NSSDC archive for distribution by the PDS along with other Voyager
solar wind data sets.

These data were not submitted to the PDS for archive and have not been through the
PDS peer review process. These data are provided by the PDS for the convenience of
PDS users. Please exercise caution when using these data.

This bundle is organized into several data collections, including:
- data-hg-1hr (urn:nasa:pds:vg1-mag-swind:data-hg-1hr)
- data-hg-48s (urn:nasa:pds:vg1-mag-swind:data-hg-48s)

PDS4 documentation is in all LBLX. There is an LBLX label for every product
in the archive.

This is a PDS4 archive of the following SAFED PDS data sets:
- VG1-SW-MAG-4-SUMM-HGCOORDS-1HR-V1.0 (https://doi.org/10.17189/1519934),
- VG1-SW-MAG-4-SUMM-HGCOORDS-48SEC-V1.0 (https://doi.org/10.17189/1519935).

These data sets were originally archived under PDS3 in the following volume:
- VGMA_1001

Under the PDS3 standard all archives were self contained and could in
principle be stored in a single file system (disk, CD-ROM, etc.). PDS4 takes
advantage of network capabilities that allow archives to be
distributed. As a result, some of the documents and meta data previously
stored in the PDS3 catalog files are no longer maintained locally, but are
maintained in a central repository. Those files are referenced by unique PDS
logical identifiers that are included in the document collection inventory.

## Errata

An errata file has been included in the document collection. Known and
additional issues are and will be noted in this file.
