####Voyager 2 Neptune Low Energy Charged Particle Data Bundle Readme

#####Introduction

This is a PDS4 archive of the Voyager 2 Neptune Low Energy Charged Particle Data Bundle
that was originally archived under PDS3 in the VG1_9022 volume.

Under PDS4 this bundle is organized into several collections, including
Data and Document. PDS4 documentation is all XML. There is an XML
label for every product in the archive.

This document contains information pertaining to the Voyager 2 Neptune Low
Energy Charged Particle Data Bundle. The bundle includes resampled data
from the Low Energy Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while
the spacecraft was in the vicinity of Neptune.

####Bundle Organization:

####Voyager 2 LECP Neptune 12.8 Minute Step Data Collections

*  urn:nasa:pds:vg2-lecp-nep:data-step-12min-asc
*  urn:nasa:pds:vg2-lecp-nep:data-step-12min-bin

These far encounter step collections consist of the counting
rate and flux ASCII and binary data for electrons and ions from the Low Energy
Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while the
spacecraft was within the vicinity of Neptune.

Data were originally archived in the following PDS3 data set:

*  [VG2-N-LECP-4-RDR-STEP-12.8MIN-V1.0](https://doi.org/10.17189/1519970)

####Voyager 2 LECP Neptune 6.4 Minute Far Encounter Step Data Collection

*  urn:nasa:pds:vg2-lecp-nep:data-step-6min

This 6.4 minute far encounter step collection consists of the counting
rate and flux data for electrons and ions from the Low Energy
Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while the
spacecraft was within the vicinity of Neptune..

Data were originally archived in the following PDS3 data set:

*  [VG2-N-LECP-3-RDR-STEP-6MIN-V1.0](https://doi.org/10.17189/1519969)

####Voyager 2 LECP Neptune 24 Second Scan Data Collections

*  urn:nasa:pds:vg2-lecp-nep:data-scan-24sec-asc
*  urn:nasa:pds:vg2-lecp-nep:data-scan-24sec-bin

These collections consist of resampled 24 second scan ASCII and
binary data from the Low Energy Charged Particle (LECP) Experiment
on the Voyager 2 Spacecraft for the period when Voyager 2
was in the vicinity of Neptune.

Data were originally archived in the following PDS3 data set:

*  [VG2-N-LECP-4-SUMM-SCAN-24SEC-V1.0](https://doi.org/10.17189/1519971)

####Voyager 2 LECP Neptune 0.4 Second High Resolution Near Encounter Data Collection

*  urn:nasa:pds:vg2-lecp-nep:data-far-enc-400msec

This 0.4 Second High Resolution collection consists of the counting
rate and flux data for electrons and ions from the Low Energy
Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while the
spacecraft was within the vicinity of Neptune.

Data were originally archived in the following PDS3 data set:

*  [VG2-N-LECP-3-RDR-FAR-ENC-400MSEC-V1.0](https://doi.org/10.17189/1519966)

####Voyager 2 LECP Neptune 3.2 Minute Far Encounter Step Data Collection

*  urn:nasa:pds:vg2-lecp-nep:data-3min-far-enc-step

This 3.2 minute far encounter step collection consists of the counting
rate and flux data for electrons and ions from the Low Energy
Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while the
spacecraft was within the vicinity of Neptune.

Data were originally archived in the following PDS3 data set:

*  [VG2-N-LECP-3-RDR-STEP-3MIN-V1.0](https://doi.org/10.17189/1519968)
