####Voyager 2 Uranus Low Energy Charged Particle Data Bundle Readme

#####Introduction

This is a PDS4 archive of the Voyager 2 Uranus Low Energy Charged Particle Data Bundle
that was originally archived under PDS3 in the VG1_9022 volume.

Under PDS4 this bundle is organized into several collections, including
Data and Document. PDS4 documentation is all XML. There is an XML
label for every product in the archive.

This document contains information pertaining to the Voyager 2 Uranus Low
Energy Charged Particle Data Bundle. The bundle includes resampled data
from the Low Energy Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while
the spacecraft was in the vicinity of Uranus.

####Voyager 2 LECP Uranus Calibtrated Resampled Scan Avg. 15 Minute Binary and ASCII Data Collection

These collections contains a table of resampled data from the Low
Energy Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while
the spacecraft was in the vicinity of Uranus. The LECP data are
globally calibrated to the extent possible and they are time averaged
to about 15 minute time intervals with the exact beginning and ending
times for those intervals matching the LECP instrumental cycle periods
(the angular scanning periods). The data are provided in ASCII tables (.TAB)
and binary files.

####Voyager 2 LECP Uranus Calibrated Resampled Sectored 15 Min Binary and ASCII Data Collections

These collections contains Voyager 2 LECP 15 minute averaged sectored particle flux
binary and ascii data. These data were recorded during the Voyager 2 Uranus encounter.
The data are provided in ASCII tables (.TAB) and binary files, each covering a single day of data.

####Voyager 2 LECP Uranus 0.4 Second High Resolution Near Encounter Data Collection

This 0.4 Second High Resolution collection consists of the counting
rate and flux data for electrons and ions from the Low Energy
Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while the
spacecraft was within the vicinity of Uranus.

These collections consists of resampled 24 second scan binary and ascii
data from the Low Energy Charged Particle (LECP) Experiment
on the Voyager 2 Spacecraft for the period when Voyager 2
was in the vicinity of Uranus. The data are provided in ASCII tables (.TAB)
and binary files.

This 6.4 minute far encounter step collection consists of the counting
rate and flux data for electrons and ions from the Low Energy
Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while the
spacecraft was within the vicinity of Uranus.

This far encounter 12.8 minute step ascii and binary collections
consists of the counting rate and flux data for electrons

The data are provided in ASCII tables (.TAB) and binary files.
