                This collection contains Calibrated data in .FIT format taken                                   
                by the New Horizons Alice Ultraviolet Imaging Spectrograph
                instrument during the CRUISE TO FIRST KBO ENCOUNTER mission phase. 
                
                These data were migrated from the PDS3 dataset: NH-X-ALICE-3-KEMCRUISE1-V2.0.
                
                The Alice observations during CRUISE TO FIRST KBO ENCOUNTER include 
                functional testing during the wakeup checkfrom hibernation, high voltage 
                (HV) dark tests, InterPlanetary Medium (IPM) Lyman-Alpha upstream 
                and downstream measurements, spacecraft - instrument interference testing, 
                and calibration testing using Rho Leo. 
                                                
                Labels were redesigned during migration using the .FIT header and PDS3 .LBL
                files, but the data files are unchanged from their PDS3 version.
