This data set contains Calibrated data taken by the New Horizons Radio
Science Experiment (REX) instrument during the PLUTO CRUISE mission phase.

This version includes data acquired by the spacecraft between 10/05/2007
and 08/07/2014. This is the complete data set.

During the PLUTO CRUISE mission phase, the New Horizons project performed
a series of Annual CheckOuts (ACOs), designed to determine basic
functionality and performance of the instrument complement. In addition,
occultations of the Earth's moon were performed in May 2011 and January
2012 (ACO-5 and ACO-6) to provide example data and experience in
performing occultation inversion in preparation for the encounter at
                Pluto/Charon.

These data were migrated from the previously released PDS3 data set
                NH-X-REX-3-PLUTOCRUISE-V1.0.

Migrated from PDS3. New labels were written to the PDS4 standard, with metadata
incorporated into a New Horizons mission dictionary. The data are unchanged.
The values of some PDS4 geometry attributes that also appear in the FITS headers
have been recalculated using a newer SPICE kernel. (B. Hirsch)</description>
