The Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) aboard the Hubble Space Telescope is an imaging instrument designed to capture high-resolution images at wavelengths from near-infrared to ultraviolet. It features three observing modes: a wide-field channel (WFC), a high-resolution channel (HRC), and a solar blind channel (SBC).
