| DESCRIPTION |
The Apollo 16 Lunar Surface Experiments Package (ALSEP) was carried on the Apollo 16 lunar module spacecraft. It was powered by a central station around which scientific experiments were deployed, including a passive seismometer experiment (PSE), lunar surface magnetometer (LSM), active seismic experiment (ASE), and a heat flow experiment (HFE).
