NAME Apollo 17 Lunar Surface Experiments Package

DESCRIPTION The Apollo 17 Lunar Surface Experiments Package (ALSEP) was carried on the Apollo 17 lunar module spacecraft. It was powered by a central station around which scientific experiments were deployed, including a heat flow experiment (HFE), lunar surface gravimeter (LSG), lunar atmospheric composition experiment (LACE), lunar seismic profiling experiment (LSPE), and a lunar ejecta and meteorites experiment (LEAM).
