NAME Crimean Astrophysical Observatory 70 cm AZT-8
DESCRIPTION The 70 cm AZT-8 Telescope is a medium-sized, ground-based optical telescope located at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in Ukraine. Built during the Soviet era, it features a 70 cm (27.5 inch) primary mirror and is designed for photographic and photometric observations. The AZT-8 has been used for a range of scientific purposes, including monitoring variable stars, supernovae, and near-Earth objects, and continues to support both professional research and educational programs.
