Data Set Abstract Abstract ======== This data set consists of the MESSENGER Mercury Laser Altimeter (MLA) Reduced Data Record (RDR) products. The MLA is a solid-state pulsed laser that measures the distance between the spacecraft and the surface of Mercury. The RDR products contain the calibrated, geolocated range data as profile measurements of the planetary radius.
