| Data Set Abstract |
The Micro-Imaging Dust Analysis System (MIDAS) is an instrument on theROSETTA Orbiter that will provide 3D images and statistical parametersof pristine cometary particles, collected in the vicinity of comet67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.This data set includes all images with identified dust particles,that have been collected in the PRELANDING to EXTENDED 3 missionphases. The identified particles are listed in a dedicated catalogue,which is implemented as a CSV table located in the /DATA directory(MID_PARTICLE_TABLE.TAB). Additional information can be found in theROSETTA-MIDAS Particle Catalogue Document (MID_PARTICLE_CATALOG.PDF).Current dataset superceds V1.0 (RO-C-MIDAS-5-PRL-TO-EXT3-V1.0)dataset after fixing target numbers in browse images and particlecatalogue. |
