Data Set Abstract This data set includes the set of Venus Climate Orbiter (VCO, also known as PLANET-C and AKATSUKI) SPICE data files (``kernel files'') for the cruising, the sun orbiting, and the science phase(s) of the mission until December 31, 2020. Data beyond this date is provided by the PDS4 Venus Climate Orbiter Akatsuki SPICE kernel archive, that supersedes this data set. The SPICE data files, which can be accessed using SPICE software, contain geometric and other ancillary information needed to recover the full value of the science instrument data. In particular SPICE kernels provide spacecraft and planetary ephemerides, instrument mounting alignments, spacecraft orientation, spacecraft sequences of events, and data needed for relevant time conversions.
